Who:

AERI members are welcome to volunteer and to visit!

What:

The Trail Creek project takes place on private land near Livingston, MT. It will consist primarily of survey and excavation, although other activities may follow. 

​

• Camping on private land; Livingston, MT, ~4,400 ft elevation

• Volunteers must bring a tent, bedding, a bowl and/or large cup, and a long-handled spoon or spork; AERI can provide a tent for some volunteers (first-come, first-served).

• Cell service is spotty, but there is good service within driving distance

• Carpool opportunities available

• 3 meals a day and snacks provided by AERI; we suggest you bring your own snacks too

• 8-hour days

• 10 days, or any interval thereof 

• 80 total hours for the total project

• Beautiful landscapes, interesting archaeology, and wild native plants workshops
